Concordia Lutheran Church is a member of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS), a church body that confesses the three ecumenical creeds: Apostles', Nicene, and Athanasian. It subscribes to the Book of Concord as a proper exposition of Holy Scripture. That is to say, we believe in the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and is the only rule and norm for life, and that it makes one "wise unto salvation" (2 Timothy 3:15).
We believe that you cannot contribute to your own salvation in any way, as Scripture clearly states in Ephesians 2:8–10: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
See Luther's Small Catechism for further explanation on what we believe.
